Water Rates

The water rate for 2007 for each category of water use is shown below.

  • Agricultural Users - $25.00 per acre-foot
  • Subdivision Users - $25.00 per acre-foot
  • M&I Surface Water (Municipal) - $60.00 per acre-foot
  • M&I Open Space Landscape Users - $176.50 per acre-foot
  • M&I Turf Landscape Users - $176.50 per acre-foot

The hourly and daily water costs for Agricultural and Subdivision users for various delivery head sizes, at the rate of $25.00 per acre-foot, are shown below.

Service Charges

An Account Reactivation Charge of $15.00 will be charged to the account if the account is reopened after having been closed for non-payment.

An Add-On Charge of $25.00 will be charged to the account if a customer asks to be added on to the Subdivision Sign-Up Sheet after the Sheet has been picked up but before the water has been scheduled.

An Emergency Run Charge of $100.00 will be charged to the account if a customer asks to receive water between the 13-day regularly scheduled Subdivision irrigation cycles. Beginning with the fifth Emergency Run request, the Charge will increase to $200.00.

A Returned Check Charge of $25.00 will be charged to the account if a customer’s check is returned to RWCD for any reason.

A Water Order Cancellation Charge of $100.00 will be charged to the account if the customer cancels a water order.
