New accounts must be opened at the District’s Office. District staff is not able to open new accounts over the phone. The District’s Office is located at 2344 S. Higley Rd. in Gilbert, Arizona. New accounts may be opened from 9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Customer Service at (480) 988-9581.

To open an account, we need your billing information such as your name, mailing address, and telephone numbers. We also need the location of the property that you plan to irrigate with your account. Generally, we require an initial deposit of $30.00 to open your account.

Subdivision customers must sign an Agreement for Irrigation Service in order to open an account. Such agreement sets forth the general terms and conditions for receiving irrigation service from the District. Please download the form, complete the form, and bring it with you to open your account.

Agricultural and Large Urban Landscape customers must sign an Agreement for Irrigation Service in order to open an account. This agreement sets forth the general terms and conditions for receiving irrigation service from the District. If you plan to irrigate leased land, then you will need to complete the Authority to Receive Irrigation Water form. Please download the forms, complete the forms, and bring them with you to open your account.

Normally, it takes about 15 minutes for our staff to open your account; and, it takes about three to five days for your new account to be activated so you can receive water. Our staff will explain the general procedures that you need to follow to order and receive irrigation water. We suggest that you contact your neighbors to learn how your private irrigation system operates, as they would be better informed than the District about their private irrigation system.
